Biography

A French photographer based in Marseille, I am now involved in photography alongside teaching art history.(Graduate of the École du Louvre and agrégée d'Arts plastiques).

Photography enables me to apprehend places, public or private spaces, by suggesting a real or imaginary experience. To make visible what could be forgotten, what has not been seen. Beyond the silence and unspeakable absence, there's also a close link with painting, without this being in the nature of a quotation.

About of “Stilte”, The look of things

"..;The space of the traditional Japanese inn room, perfectly empty of furniture, with its whitewashed walls and tatami floor is beautiful in its bareness. in one corner, a small flower stuck in a vase. That's all. But the discreet presence of the flower breathes emptiness, deploying it well beyond the limits of the room, which then seems larger. When we allow ourselves to be absorbed by this space, we feel the silent gaze of something. Without knowing it, one becomes a poet.3
